Position Overview:
- The Team Lead – Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts and managing a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a focus on billing software solutions. This individual will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Hire, Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the team’s product knowledge and sales skills.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the customer base.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of industry developments.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to ensure seamless post-sales support.
- Sales Performance Monitoring:
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics to assess team and individual effectiveness.
- Implement corrective measures and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, performance, and forecasts.
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, with a focus on billing software solutions (experience in billing software sales is a strong advantage).
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role within a sales team.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies and tactics.
